1) Irony that hurts a little too much

Jokes that bring you down, always about the same topics (your style, your relationship, your job), followed by the classic, "Oh my, you can't say anything more!" If you constantly end the conversation with a slight embarrassment, it's not humor, but a thinly veiled dig.

2) Repeated "minor oversights"

Information that "forgets" to be passed on, deliberately vague advice that wastes time, an important detail that "fades out of sight, fades from memory." It happens once. If it happens repeatedly, it matters.

3) Silent competition

You announce good news, and instead of "Congratulations," you hear "Me too" or "It's really not that complicated." This person puts themselves at the center of attention, belittling everything, comparing things... as if their own success somehow annoys them.
